Description
Curaprox Zero Fluoride Strawberry flavoured toothpaste to remove plaque and maintain good oral hygiene from the first tooth without fluoride for a delightful, worry-free brushing routine. This toothpaste is delicious and provides milk teeth with reliable, lasting protection against acidic foods and tooth decay. It contains no fluoride, making it ideal for very young children (ages two and up). It contains enzymes that support the saliva’s natural protective role, so that it can work on re-mineralizing the enamel of the teeth. It also contains sorbitol, which prevents the toothpaste from drying out. Then there’s a dash of xylitol (AKA birch sugar), which protects against bacteria and strengthens the teeth. The fresh, fruity flavour turns your little one’s daily dose of dental hygiene into a welcome time-out. In fact, any aversion to brushing their teeth will disappear quicker than a scoop of strawberry ice cream left out in the sun. Fluoride is a mineral naturally found in small amounts in a variety of foods and it is most recognized for its role in preventing and reversing dental caries and building strong teeth and bones. When the teeth constantly receive too much fluoride over a long period of time that may lead to fluorosis especially occurs in children between the ages of two and six, when the tooth formation is not yet complete. Dental fluorosis causes the white or brownish spots on the teeth and hence it is advisable to use fluoride free toothpaste for kids, however, make sure that your children are supplied with sufficient fluoride by other means.
