Erka Erkaphon Stethoscope is specially tailored to the needs of nurses and caregivers. The pre-tensioned ERKA convex membrane provides excellent resonance and sound transmission, for transmitting high and low frequency tones. The stethoscope is ideally suited for routine examinations and blood pressure measurement. The standard 15° inclined binurals can be individually adapted to the ear canal characteristics of the user. The binaural-mounted spring enables optimal forwarding of the sounds through the single-channel tube. All components used in an ERKA stethoscope can be cleaned and disinfected easily and thoroughly. The chest-piece of an ERKA stethoscope is made from hand polished and pore free chromed brass. Compared to aluminum or stainless steel, this surface is more resistant to germs and bacteria.
